CHEAP CREDIT POLICY
France Follows British Example STATEMENT BY MINISTER By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received January 6, 6.20 p.m.) Paris, January 5. M. Germain Martin, Finance Minister, admitted in an interview that the policy of cheap credit now inaugurated by M. Flandin himself, was inspired by the British example. He said: Our conception has already been tested in practice in England, where London’s vast financial market may bq regarded as a model. Our financial policy, aided by the improvement in international relationships, should allow the country to escape from a period of stagnation which otherwise would lead inevitably to monetary troubles.
