SHOT BY BURGLAR
Constable Badly Wounded

Sydney, January 6.
A burglar shot Constable John Arthurson, aged 30, at Bargo. The bullet entered his stomach and bis condition is critical.
Constable Arthurson disturbed two men ransacking a house and pluckily attempted to arrest them when the shot was fired. The men escaped.
