TWO LINERS TO-DAY
> Maunganui and Monowai Two liners, bringing nearly 400 passengers, are due at AVellington to-day. The Union Company’s R.M.S. Maunganui, en route from San Francisco via Papeete and Rarotonga, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive in the stream at 6 o’clock this morning. She will berth about 8 a.m. at the Taranaki Street AVharf. The Maunganui has 106 passengers and brings 540 bags of mail and 23 parcel receptacles for AVellington. She is to leave here again at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Sydney. The same company’s liner Monowai, en route from Melbourne and Sydney, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive in the stream at 3 o’clock this aftefnson. She will berth immediately at No. 1 south Queen’s AVharf, and her passengers should be free to leave her about an hour later. The Monowai brings 272 passengers and has 98 bags of mail and 80 parcel receptacles for AA’elllngton. She is to leave here again next Thursday for Sydney and Melbourne. 1
