MATCH RACE ABANDONED By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, January 5. The match race between Worthy Queen and Nell Yolo, which was to have been run at the Royal meeting on January 19, will not now take place, as Worthy Queen is unable to race. The programme now comprises seven races and a speed trial by Indianapolis over one mile. The order of the events has been changed slightly. The Sussex Handicap becomes the fifth race. It is for unhoppled trotters over a mile and a half, which means that the start is from in front of the main grandstand. It is understood that the Duke of Gloucester will start this race.
