CONTRACT TO BRITISH FIRM
« Work at Dam on Tigris (British Official Wireless.) (Received January 4. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, January 3. A contract to the value of £169,720 for two swing bridges, a lock and sluice gates for the £1,000,000 Kut barrage on the River Tigris has been secured by Messrs. Ransomes and Rapier, London and Norwich, who>Tecently secured the contract for the lock and sluice gates for the Assiut Dam.
