HUTT COUNTY ' PROPOSAL to raise a Special Loan of - 1 - £7ooo—Paremata Bridge and Road Loan, 1935. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Counties Act, 1920, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1026, and all other powers it thereunto enabling the Hutt County Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of £7OOO for the purpose of meeting the County’s share of the cost of the coiistruction of a reinforced concrete bridge (including approaches thereto) over the Porirua Harbour near Paremata, and the construction and metalling of an access road therefrom to Plimmerton and including fencing, advertising, engineering nnd other preliminary expenses in connection with the scheme, subject to the following conditions:— 1. The term of the loan or any part thereof shall be 35 years. 2.' The rate of interest shall not exceed 3J per cent, per annum. 3. The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate half-yearly instalments extending over the term of the loan.

4. No such instalment shall be paid out of t'hc loan. 5. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising same. 6. The security for the said loan shall bo an annual recurring special rate of one farthing in the pound (id. in the £1) on the capital value of all rateable property in the Taupo Riding of the County of Hutt.
