Large Meeting Planned Good amateur athletic and cycling talent should be seen when Wanganui’s strong contingent pays a visit to Wellington at the end of next week foj' a meeting with the Wellington and Kiwi clubs. Arrangements have been made for a big gathering under electric light at the Basin Reserve on the Saturday evening. and the competitors will not be confined to the clubs mentioned. There will be a special attraction in the appearance of F. J. Grose, the noted Canterbury cyclist, who represented New Zealand at the Tfmpire Games. He is to participate in three match races with C. Ulmer, 0. Dislcy, T. Roe. L. Roberts, and A. Pennington, and there is a likelihood of leading Wanganui cyclists also being in the field. Entries for the meeting close on Monday.
