RIFLE SHOOTING
Small-Bore Club Competes With Naval Men
The Wellington Small-Bore Rifle Club entertained a team representing H.M.S. Laburnum v. H.M.S. Leith on their now range at Miramar on Saturday afternoon under perfect weather conditions. This was the first occasion the navy team had had a shoot at 50 yards with their 22bore rifles, and, were consequently at a disadvantage; nevertheless some good scores were registered. The conditions were two shots at .»O vards, first shoot with own rille, second shoot change over the W.S.B.R.C. using the navy rifles, and the navy using the W.S.B.R.C. rifles.
