South African Wool For
Germany
% PURCHASES IN RETURN
(Received January 1, 7 p.m.) Capo Town. December 31
According to an official statement the wool agreement between the Union of South Africa and the German Government has been signed. The two Governments have agreed that Germany make the necessary arrangements to enable- German . importers to purchase wool in the Union to a value not exceeding £2,400,000, till May 30 next. Union importers, it is expected, will purchase German goods equivalent in value by August 30 next. '
