OBITUARY
Mr. John Prentice The death has occurred of Mr. John Prentice at the age of 83 years, states a “Dominion’’ Special Service message from Palmerston North. The late Mr. Prentice came to New Zealand at the age of 17 years and was employed on the construction of the Rimutaka railway.. Later he was engaged in the brick-making industry in Wellington and Palmerston North until he retired 13 years ago. He was a member o£ the Ancient Order of Foresters and a member of the Manawutu Kennel Club. He leaves a widow, six daughters and four sons.
