Inauguration of Air Mail By Telegraph—Press Association. Hokitika, December 29. The Hokitika Jubilee celebrations are being continued to-day in splendid wea-. ther. The sports yesterday attracted a large attendance, and the Citizens’ Ball last evening was a wonderful success. To-day the celebrations include the concluding day of the races, with carnival revels to-night, and there will be a church parade to-morrow, and a grand fireworks finale on Monday night The South Westland air mail, Hokitika to Okura, commences on Monday, and the occasion will be celebrated at the aerodrome in the aftenioon on the return of the airman. The continued fine weather is affecting Lake Kstnieri, whichihas never been so low.
