Severe Cyprus Downpour (British Official Wireless.i (Received December 30, 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, December 2\ Heavy rain has fallen in Cyprus, ending tlie disastrous drought which lias prevailed there in recent years. i Unfortunately, the downpour was so severe, that it caused a rupture of the biggest water reservoir in the island, leading to destructive floods.
