VEILED WARNING
Mussolini and Germany POLICY ON RELIGION (Received December 30. 6.30 p.m.) London, December 29. Tlie Berlin correspondent of "Tlie •Times” says that Catholics are greatly interested in an article written by Signor Mussolini, in which he scornfully, rejects the idea of founding a State religion or subordinating Catholicism to the State.
The references are so pointed toward Germany, that it is believed that tlie article, will) the Pope’s Christmas message referring to paganism, is designed indirectly to warn German leaders against interfering with tlie Church.
