RAILWAY EXCURSION

In, connection with the railway excursion to Auckland and Waitomo Caves, the Mayor of Auckland (Dlr. J. Baildon) has extended to the citizens of Wellington an invitation to give full patronage to the excursion, thus making the first interchange of visits between the two cities sufficiently succcsful to warrant its being the forerunner of others. The special train leaves Thorndon at 4.30 p.m.. to-day, arriving at Auckland on Saturday morning, and leaving again on Sunday morning for the Waitomo Caves, and thence to Wellington.
