BUS CONTROL
TRANSPORT APPEAL BOARDS. The constitution of several Transport Appeal Boards under the Motor Omnibus Traffic Act has been altered. In No. 10 distrit. Dlr. J. A. Flesher, solicitor, of Christchurch, replaces the Hon. J. Barr, M.L.C., as representative of the local authorities with established bus and tram services; while in No. 12 district Mr. F. S. Dyson, district engineer, Public Works Department. Dunedin, succeeds Mr. J. R. Marks, as the Government representative. An Appeal Board from No. 2 district is eonstii »tod, consisting of Mr. Justice Fraser (chairman), and Dlr. L. B. Campbell, district engineer, Public Works Department, representing the Government; Mr. A. E. Greenslade, Norfhcote, representing the district local authorities; and the Hon. E. W. Alison, M.L.C.. representing private bus owners. Mr. S. A. deal has been appointed clerk to the board.
