BRITISH COMMUNISTS

READY TO FIGHT WITH RED ARMY Riga, February 26. The British Communist, Callagher, speaking at the Red Army anniversary celebrations at Moscow and delivering a message purporting to come from British workers, declared that he and his colleagues were ready to fight amongst the Red Army and overthrow British Imperialism. The Red Army’s mere existence was already stirring up India’s millions to throw off Britain’s bloody domination. The first shot of an Anglo-Soviet war would be the death knell of the Empire. M. Voroshiloff, Commissar of War, said that the army supported the Soviet’s disarmament proposals, and was ready to disarm, although possessed of adequate means to fulfil its purpose.
