The Tahiti, bound, from Sydney to Wellington, is due in the stream about U o’clock this morning, and will berth about 9 o’clock at No. 1 south Queen’s AVharf. The vessel is timed to leave here again at 3 p.m. to-morrow tor Rarotonga, Papeete, and Sau Francisco. ROTORUA FROM HOME. From London and Southampton, via Panama, the New Zealand Shipping Company's Rotorua arrived in the stream at Wellington shortly alter 8 a.m. on Saturday. Pratique was granted, and the vessel berthed shortly alter lu o'clock at the Pipitea Wharf to disembark her passengers and put out part cargo. The vessel loaded at London, and proceeded thence to Southampton, to pick up her passengers aud mails, leaving there on January 20. Bad weather, with fog and heavy seas, was encountered lor the first four days, the weather then clearing aud remaining fine fur the remainder of the voyage. The Rotorua passed through the Panama Canal on February 4 and reached Pitcairn Island on February 15, where a short stop was made. Captain J. L. B. Cabled news has been received by the Union Company that the Manuka, from AVelliugton, via Milford Sound, arrived at Melbourne at It a.in. on Friday. The vessel is to leave there at 10 a.m. on AVednesday for AVelliugton, aud is due here on Monday morning, leaving again the same day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, aud Melbourne. Line chartered steamer Ashburton, on route from Now York, via Suva, report Ing that the vessel will arrive at Auckland at 8 o'clock this morning. The ship is expected at AVelliugton next Friday. The Waiotapu will clear Nowcast Io tomorrow for Vancouver and San Francisco, via Fiji and Fanning Island. Tho Waihemo, from Auckland, arrived at Vancouver on Thursday, and loa’ds at Union Bay and Ocean Falls, clearing the latter port on March 1 for San Francisco direct to complete loading for Auckland, Wollington, New Plymouth, Melbourne, and Sydney. MISCELLANEOUS. The City of Hath left Dunedin on Friday for Launceston. The Port Bowen arrived at Gisborne on Saturday from Opua. She will next proceed to Napier. The Port Hunter, which arrived at Wu’lington on Saturday morning from Liverpool, via Auckland, will sail to-morrow for Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Corinna, from south, is due here on Wednesday, and will go on to Nelson and New Plymouth. The Kaimai is to leave Grey mouth today for Wellington. The Poolta, from Greymouth, is due here this morning, and will later return to the same port. The Katoa, from Lyttelton, is duo here to-morrow, and will go on to Auckland. The Opihi will leave Westport to-mor-row for Miramar. The Kainona will load at Dunedin on Wednesday for Wellington and Auckland. The Kaponga is to leave Portland tomorrow with cement for New Plymouth, Wellington, and Lyttelton. Due here to-day from Auckland, the Kaimauawa will go on to We-tnort. where she will load for Napier and Wellington. The Kaituna is to leave Auckland early this week for Greymouth, to load for Nanier and Wellington. The Progress, from southern norfs, ts due hero on Thursday, and will go on to Now Plymouth and Port Waikato. The John is due here on Thursday from Lyttelton, and will go on to Wanganui and N«w Plymouth. The Regulus is due here on Wednesday from New Plymouth, and will leave again later the same day for VTestport and Greymouth.

The Wingatui is to leave Auckland on Wednesday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin.

The Totara is to load at Lyttelton today for Wellington and New Plymouth.
