OAMARU BEAT EASTBOURNE ; On Saturday two rinks comprising members of bo'wling clubs in Oamartt arrived, bringing with them the “Toni Lock friendiv bowl,” to play a return match with Eastbourne Club. During a visit last year to Oamaru of Eastbourne Club, the friendly bowl was presented by Air. T. Lock, with the object of having annual friendly matches between the Eastbourne and Oamaru Clubs. The bowl was donated by Mr. M. Martin, of Wellington Bowling Club. The visitors were given a cordial welcome by the president: (Mr. W. Ferry) of the Eastbourne Club, who enter- - tained the visitors at lunch. Three ■ games of 21. heads were played, and resulted in a win for Oamaru by 119 points to 108.
