A CORRECTION In the announcement published yesterday concerning the initial issue to the public of New Zealand of bonds under the Rural Advances Act, 1926, the Minister of Finance (Hon. W. D. Stewart) was reported as follows:— “Investors are being offered bonds bearing interest at 5 per cent, and having currency to September 15, 1947. The issue price of the bonds has been fixed at £94 10s. per £lOO, and at this price interest only on capital employed returns to the investor £5 ss. 10d. per cent., and with redemption at par (£10(1) at the end of the period the return is £5 19s. Id. per cent.” The final figures “£5 19s. Id. per cent.” should read "£5 9s. Id. per cent.”
