YACHTING

WORSER BAY RACES. The second series ol races for the Fellows Shield was held by the Worser Bay Club over the week-end. The first race was sailed in a full-sail northerly, but the second and third races in a full-sail southerly. The boats returned home in ilio same order in each race, so that the skippers secured each a first, second, and third. In the first heat S. James met with .a mishap, and handed the tiller to the other man in the boat so that he loses points for that heat. -A protest was lodged as to the result of the third heat. The sailing committee, meeting on Monday night, ordered a resail. Results were: — First heat: Karkariki, G. Cain, I; Maru, D. Bell, 2; Spitfire, S. James (disqualified), 3. Second heat: Karkariki. D. Bell, 1; Maru, S. James, 2; Spitfire. G. Cain, 3. Third heat : Karkariki. J. James, 1: Maru. G. Cain, 2: Spitfire, D. Bell, 3. The last two in this heat were disqualified.
