MEDICAL CONFERENCE
OPENED AT HAMILTON. By Telegraph — Press association Hamilton, February 22. About 120 doctors from all parts of the Dominion are in Hamilton attending the annual conference of the New Zealand Division of the British Medical Association, which opened to-day. Included among the visitors, is Dr. V. Bonney, of London. At the annual meeting of .the branch to-day. Dr. H. Douglas, of Hamilton, was inducted president by Dr. IT. E. Gibbs (Wellington). The annual meeting of the council was hold later. Sir Donald McGavin (Wellington) being elected chairman of the council for the ensuing venr. Dr. N. F. V. Anson (Wellington) was elected lion, general secretary on the retirement of Dr. D. F. Fenwick (WellinHonl Dr. n. E. Gibbs (Wellington) and Dr W. Trvinyr (Chrisfclinreli) wore nTU>o^nte f, to act as chairman and secretarr respectively of the executive committee. A large number of functions hnvo bco>’ arranged, and the visitors wore accord cd a civic reception to-night. I
