LIAISON OFFICER TO NEW ZEALAND

QUESTION IN HOUSE OF COMMONS (Rec. February 21, 7.5 p.m.) London, February 20. In the House of Commons, replying to a question, the Hon. L. S. Amery aaid that from April 1 next Mr. Nicholls’s salary as Foreign Office liaison officer to New Zealand would be included in the Dominion Office vote. No doubt he would correspond informally with the Foreign Office. Mr. Nicholls had been lent to Mr. Coates, and was not to be a representative of any Department.—A.P.A. and “Sun.”
