PICNICS
Tho eighth annual picnic of the stall of Messrs. Coulls, Somerville, Wilkie, Ltd., was held at Maidstone Park, Upper Hutt, on Friday last, under ideal conditions, a most enjoyable day being spent by adults and children. Results of the sports are as follow:— Apprentice Handicap—Blair 1, Still ». C.S.W. ladies’ handicap—Miss Burgess 1, Miss Brittain 2. C.S.W. gents.’ handicap— Wells 1, Turner 2. Ladies’ handicap—Miss do Rosa 1, Mrs. Wheeler 2. Gents.’ handicap—Collie L Lloyd 2. Double event —Mr. Turner. Miss Burgess. Department relay race—Bindery. Blopement race —Air. and Aire. Widdop.
