WEEK-END EXCURSION

The slogan, “See Now Zealand First.” has been adopted by tho .Railway Departinent, which by providing week-end excursions has enabled many thousands of people to travel this summer to distant places of interest and beauty, journeys which could not otherwise have been undertaken. One of tho best excursions of the, kind is now being arranged, viz., from Wellington to Auckland aud tho Waitomo Caves. Tho excursion train will leave Wellington on Friday afternoon, March 2, and arrive back in Wellington at 7.0 a.m on the Monday following. A trip to Auckland at half the usual faro is- well worth while, but as a visit, to the world-tum-ous Waitomo Caves is also included tbo opportunity of making the journey should not be missed. Further information is given in tbo Railway Department's advertisement in to-day s issue.
