STEVENS’ RELIEF FUND
To the Editor. Sir,—On behalf of tho committea. wedesire to state that the Stevens Relief Fund will bo definitely closed on YVerlnesday, February 22. We ask that any intending donors shall remit their contributions on or before that date, also that the collecting lists that have not already been returned shall bo sent in to Mr. Semple if possible by that date. . The committee is in communication with the District Public Trustee regarding a scheme of control ami administration of the fund. The recommendations approved by tlrn Public Trustee will be laid before a full meeting of the committee at an early date, and details regarding tho fund will then be made public. The warmest thanks of the committee are tendered to tho members of a generous public for the general and generous response that has been made to the appeal. The invaluable services 'of The Dominion will be acknowledged bv special resolution of the committee. 'The Public Trustee has voluntarily undertaken the control and administration of the fund free of charge. Al) the work has been done voluntarily without any charge against the fund. —YYe are, etc..
