The following are the results to date of the club championship games played by members of the Masterton Club;— Men’s- Singles.—First round: Welch beat Woodhouse, 6—l, 6—o, 6—l; Rose beat White Parsons, 6—2, 3—6, 6—3, 4—6, 6 —4. Second round : Marshall beat Penney, 6—l, 6—2, 4— l; iv. ziyer beat Boddington, o—l, o—2, 6—l. Men’s Doubles.—First round: Lawson and Rees beat Woodhouse and Penney, 6—3, 7—a; Dyer and Dyer beat Maunsell and Beetham, 7—5, 6—o; Hodder and James beat Bee and Tomlinson, 10—8, -6—4; Irwin and Marshall beat Miller and Heaps. Combined Doubles.—First round : Martin and Mrs. Michael beat Bee and Mrs. Gordon, 6—4, 4—6, 6—4; Wellwood and Miss Sellar beat Marshall and Miss Cook; Welch and Miss Bradley beat Rose and Miss K. Holmwood, 4—6, 6—1,6 —2, Maitland and Mrs. Maitland beat Betham and Mrs. Beetham, 6—l, 6—3; Boddington and Mrs. Cameron beat Miller and Mrs. Groves.
