A series of coloured lantern slides dealin- with all aspects of the tropical island of Makogai and the work carried out there in connection with the lepei patients will bo shown at tho Conceit Chamber, Town Hall, to-morrow evening. Tn appreciation of the assistance given bv the Government and people of New Zealand, the Rev. Mother in charge o tho nursing sisterhood has consented to show the. slides and deliver a short address. The Mayor will preside and an address will bo delivered bv Sir Mam Pomarc (Minister of the Cook Islam Is) The lecture will be free, and tho public are cordially invited to be present.
