ACTION AGAINST WILL Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, February 15. Mr. Justice Ostler was engaged in the Palmerston North Supreme Court this morning in hearing originating summonses under the “Family Protection. Act, 1908.” , . , The first case was ono wherein Ethel Louisa Read petitioned against the Public Trustee, asking that an order be made so that she might have a bigger allowance under the will or her father who died nine years ago. Considerable evidence was heard by His Honour, who made an order that £3OO be paid to plaintiff out of the residue of funds in the hands of the Public Trustee. “I cannot see that tho will was one of a just father,” he commented in making the order. His Honour also decreed.that the costs of the proceedings be paid out of the estate. _____
