PALMERSTON EVENING CARNIVAL Palmerston North, February 1. There was an excellent attendance at the swimming carnival held by the Y.M.C.A. Club at Palmerston North this evening, when an interesting programme was got off. The 100 yards champion o; New Zealand (N. Wanganui, February 15. The Central Club continued its weekly programme at the City Baths tonight. The races for the Askew Memcrial Cup provided splendid finishes, there being only a touch between the contestants. The preliminary races were held ct the Technical College Baths on Monday night.
