PELORUS SOUND EXCURSION
Another of the delightful excursions by the s.s. Tamahine will tako place this week-end, leaving Wellington on Saturday next at 1.15 p.m. Tlie vessel, with her high speed, will soon run across Cook Strait, arriving in Tory Channel about 3.36 p.m., and about an hour later at Picton. Here tho evening will be passed with dancing and supper on tho roomy promenade deck among bright flags and coloured lights. When tho breakfast-gong rings next day, the Tamahine will be many miles away in Tennyson Inlet, Pelorus Sound, where the morning wil' bo occupied in boating, fishing, swimming, picnicking, and so forth, amid surroundings of exquisite beauty. The return to Picton will be made in tho afternoon, with a call at Ship Cove, Captain Cook’s rendezvous, on the way; and the vessel shoul darrive back in Wellington about half-past nine in the evening.
