1 MIRAMAR LADIES’ CLUB. The annual general meeting of the ladies’ section of the Miramar Golf Club was held on Monday, Mrs. P. Torstonson presiding. The report showed the chib to be in a very flourishing condition . Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow:—Captain. Mrs. P. Torstonson; committee, Mrs. C. N. Brasley, is H. Taylor, Miss R. Sidey; hop. secretary, Miss S. AL Carter. Opportunity was taken to thank fhe following for prizes donated during the season:—Mrs. Gavin, Mrs. Tomlinson, Miss E. Didsbury. .Miss B. George, Mrs. Dalgleish, Mrs. Winton Brown, Airs. O. Mills, Mrs. A. Fair. Airs. It. A. Holmes. Mrs. C. Al. Banks, Mrs. Torstonson, Miss R. Sidey, and Aliss H. Taylor. Miss Barnett was also thanked for a cup she is presenting, to bo played for this year.
