4 OXFORD AND CAMBRIDGE v. DOMINION STUDENTS (Rec. February 12, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 11. The annual match of the combined Oxford and Cambridge Universities against Dominion students, played at Oxford, was won by the Universities by 11 points to 8. The Dominions’ team included the New Zealanders, K. Saxon and Gilmer. —A.P.A. and “Sun.” ENGLAND BEATS IRELAND (Rec. February 12, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 11. England beat Ireland by 7 points to 6 in a Rugby match, played in Dublin. The weather was fine, and the attendance thirty thousand. —A.P.A. and “Sun. ’ VANCOUVER’S CHANCES AGAINST WARATAHS Vancouver, February 10. Much time is being devoted by critics to the composition of the fifteens to meet the Waratalis, though no one believes that a real challenge can bo hurled against the Australians. A belief, however, is expressed that the quality of Rugby is improving, and tho one-sided scores roiled up by the All Blacks are not anticipated.
