MOTOR-CYCLISTS’ INJURIES

MACHINE SKIDS ON GRAVEL. While motor-cycling along tho Hutt Road towards the city shortly before seven o'clock on Saturday evening, two youths, John Ray Wilkinson and A. McCormack, were injured through the machine skidding in some loose gravel near Kaiwarra. McCormack, who resides at 16 Byron Street, Aliramar, received severe head injuries, which rendered him unconscious. Late hist night, however, 'he was slowly regaining consciousness, although his condition was still serious. Wilkinson, who was riding behind McCorinack, received injuries to one of bis ankles and hands, but after receiving first aid from the Free Aniublance Service, and further attention »t the hospital, he was able to leave the institution. Ho is a bricklayer by occupation,, and lives at 13 Henry Street, Kilbu-nie.
