BRIBERY CHARGES
REPEATED BY UNION OFFICIAL (Rec. February b. 10.55 p.m.) Sydney, February’ 8. At a meeting of the Central Council of Australasian Coal Shale Employees Federation, Mr. Hoare repented his bribery charges and divulged the name of tlie medium through whom the bribes to keep the Stockton Borehole Colliery working reached individuals, all whom were members of the Miner’s Federation.
The council discussed the statement and adopted a resolution that it was not advisable to disclose the name of the man who paid the bribes. The matter will be further discussed tomorrow.
