The results of the sports meeting held by tho Maliawatu Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club on the sports ground this evening, arc as follow:— 100 Yards. —Piercy, 1; Strange, 2; Kelly. 3. Half-mile Cyclo.—C. Casey, 1; Olsen, 2; J. Casey, 3. Ladies’ 100 Yards—Miss Waters, 1; Miss E. Norris, 2, Miss M. Newth, 3. Boys’ 100 Yards—A. Ward (College Street). 1; A. Wilkinson (West End), 2. 300 Yards. —Lovelock, 1; Coles, 2; Griffin, 3. One Mile and a Half Cycle.—York, 1; Prouso, 2; Ward, 3. Broad Jump.—Lovelock and McDonald. tie, first (20ft. 2in.),; Fletcher, 3 (20ft.); Kelly. 4 (19ft. Ilin.). An interesting addition to the programme was the ladies’ race, which proved a popular item.

On Saturday next tho Bideford sports (Wairarnpn) will lie held in Mr. J. ballon’s paddock, Rosebauk.
