LAWN TENNIS
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING The management committee of the Wellington Provincial Lawn Tennis Association met on Alonday. Air. Al. E. F. Airey presided, and there were also present, Alessrs. F. W. Reed, G. F. Pcnlington, C. G. Swinburne, Al. E. Denniston ,E. S. Hodgkins, F. Cornet and W. Cobby (secretary,!. The chairman and other members welcomed Air. E. Hodgkins, delegate from the Kelburn Club, on the management committee to fill one of the three existing vacancies thereon. The secretary reported that Air. W. Harbison, delegate from Brougham Dill, had consented to fill another vacancy. It was decided to approach Air. G. A. Dawson, of th Wellington Club, to occupy the third.
Afany details in connection with the forthcoming Anthony ’Wilding Shjeld and Inter Provincial matches against Canterbury were decided. Dr. A. Park, of Wellington, and Air. W. Goss, of Canterbury, were nominated to the N.Z.L.T.A. for tho position of referee. Air. A. L. France was appointed captain. It was also decided to print tickets for salo prior to the event. In connection with the Easter tournament, it was decided to ask players to state whether they would be prepared to play on Good Friday.
AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
