Mr. G. M. Morice, water and drainage engineer to the City Corporation, was to have retired on superannuation at-the end of the present month, but at the request of the new city engineer (Mr. G. A. Hart) he has consented to remain until the end of March. On Monday Mr. Hart paid a visit to the waterworks at Wainui and Orongorongo in pursuance of his policy to get a grip of the city’s main services as soon as possible. _________
