HEARING OF CHARGES AGAINST PEARSON. (Rec. December 5, 11.5 p.m.) London, December 5. The hearing of the charge against Hesketli Pearson of false pretences in connection with the publication of “Whispering Gallery” has been resumed.
Ellen Lane said Pearson had told him he had written the book from Sir Renncll Rodd’s diary, with Sir Kenneth’s approval. The hearing was adjourned until next Saturday, when it is expected Sir Kennell Rodd’s evidence will be taken.
