HEIRSHIP TO LARGE AREA IN HEART OF SYDNEY. San Francisco, December 3. Ten grandchildren of Robert Paton, who allege that Paton was granted 160 acres of land in 1835 in what is now the heart of Sydney, to-day commissioned lawyers to establish their heirship to property which is now estimated to be worth thirty million dollars. Paton’s heirs claim that he was given a Royal grant in recognition of his invention Of a method of ridding Sydney Harbour of dangerous rocks. Eight grandchildren live in California; two, J. G. Paton and Mrs. S. Allan M. Mowry, in New York City.
