Masterton, December 3The recent outbreak of typhoid fever claimed'its first victim to-night in Miss Winifred Mav Spershott. aged 22, who died in Masterton Hospital, after two weeks in isolation. ■ The deceased’s mother is numbered among the other seven cases in hospital.
