LARGE AMOUNTS COLLLCTHD. Dominion Special. Dunedin, December 2. Tbe’ financial results of the Gipsy Smith Mission in Dunedin were reiwrted by the treasurer (Mr. E. A. Roseveur) at the quarterly meeting of the Council of (hiristian Congregations to-night. The amount received at rhe midday aud evening meetings (exclusive of the collections at the services for the benefit of the missioner) was £4+B 12s. Sd., 62 per cent, of which was made up of sixpences and shillings. In addition there were donations and other receipts to tlie amount of £4 2s. 6d bringig the total to £463 ss. 2d The total expenses were t'457 2s. 3d. and tho thanksgiving offerings amounted to £95 45., which went to the missioner and his parly. The proceeds of the lecture, which was independent of tbe mission, were £136 15s. lid.
