HUTT LICENSING COMMITTEE

The quarterly meeting of the Hutt Licensing Committee was held yesterday. Mr. J. M. Power presided m the absence of Mr. W. G. Riddell, S. The following members were also present: Messrs. A. Anderson, H. Foley, J. E- August and A. G. Bowden. The onlv business before the committee were two transfers, one for the Taita Hotel from C. Pritchard to E. T. Horne, and the other for the Victoria Hotel from S. J. Wbiteford to P. J. Purcell, and an application for a conditional license to V. R. Meaghan at the Wellington Trotting Club’s meeting at Hutt Park on December 8 and 11. All were approved.
