HUTT VALLEY POWER BOARD
LOAN PROPOSAL CARRIED. The Hutt Valley Power Board's propcsal to raise a loan of £150,000 to .provide 'further rcticidation n the board’s . area was carried bv 655 votes to 217 at a poll taken yesterday. As security for the loan it is proposed to levy a special rate of seventeen twenty-fifths of a penny on the unimproved value of all rateable property.
