WOMAN’S GOOD CAUTION Dominion Special. Dunedin. November 30. While about to put a shovelful of coal on the fire yesterday a lady resident of Rankeilor Street. South Dunedin, noticed a foreign substance the shape of a piece of broom handle about Sin. or tin. long amongst the coal. She removed it, and later cm showed it to her husband, who. on examining it. found it was labelled, “Blasting powder—highly explosive.” The lady is thankful that she was cautious enough to pick it out of the coal and place it on one side.
