THINGS GOING WELL AT SAMOA Dominion’ Special. Auckland, November' 30. “Things are going very well at Samoa,” said Mr. A. B. Ross, A.D.C. to General Sir George Richardson (Administrator of Samoa), on board the Tofua this morning. “There has been a little political squabble down there,” he continued, “but the trouble has been satisfactorily settled.” Mr. Ross said that the recent visit of the Governor-General had been much appreciated by all concerned and especially by the natives, who had been most excited over the event. When told of the complimentary remarks passed by His Excellency at the Rotary Club’s luncheon on General Richardson’s administration, Mr. Ross remarked that Samoa had turned the corner and a successful future for the islands was assured. >
