.All kinds of domestic utensils, from drinking mugs to washing tubs, which look like pottery, but are unbreakable, are made from wood-pulp in the Norfolk town of Thetford. A Norwegian seaman recently- crossed the North Sea alone in an open sailing boat 25ft. long. Two days x>ut tho boat sprang a leak, and for eight days the sailor had to .bail out every three hours, day and night.
