A NARROW ESCAPE
BOATS IN COLLISION Dominion Special. Auckland, November 28. The vehicular ferrv steamer Mollvhawk and the motor-launch Centaur collided off Prince’s. Wharf shortlv after 10 this morning Fortunatelv before the impact occurred the Mollvhawk was nearly stopped, but the launch was caught by the steamer’s stem and sustained damages to part of the belting, and also strained her hull. The launch contained ;«*(>«t a dozen passengers, who were considerably frightened. William Atford, aged 78, was taken to the Hospital suffering from slight injuries to his back. A young woman climbed on the Mollyhawk’s deck and fainted.
