LABOUR PARTY SUPPORTS ABOLITION.

The National Executive of the New Zealand Labour Party at its last meeting passed a resolution congratulating the Presbyterian Assembly on their decision to work for the abolition of compulsory military training The importance of cultivating peace psychology on the principles of the founder of the Christian Church could not be too strongly urged, and no field for workin this direction has more possibilities of producing good fruit than the youth of the Dominion.

Tn conveying the message to the Clerk of the Assembly, the national secretary of the Labour Party assured him' that any effort that may make for the abolition of systems that breed the military spirit or.. that may advance the universal peace movement -will be heartily supported by the New Zealand Labour Party.
