FIRST IN NEW ZEALAND
FENDALTON’S OPEN. AIR SCHOOL Dominion Special. Christchurch, November 26.. With the opening of a new open-air class-room this week, the Fendalton Public School now claims the distinction of being the first complete open-air school in New Zealand. There are five new open-air class-rooms, together with two rooms remodelled from the old building. All the rooms face the north, ensuring a maximum of sunshine.
