HOSTILE MOTIONS
STRESEMANN WEATHERS STORM (Rec. November 26, 5.5 p.m.) Berlin, November 26. The Minister of Foreign Affairs (Dr. Stresemann), through the Moderate Nationalists not voting, weathered two no-confidence motions moved by Monarchists and Communists. The Reichstag then rejected a motion advocating invalidation of the Dawes Agreement and declined to consider motions urging cancellation of the Locarno Pact and League of Nations membership, but agreed to urge either the League or the Hague Court to consider the question of who was responsible for the war.
